2018 "A Home for Amya" Project
During the summer of 2017, Amya Catching was celebrating her 12th birthday party at friend's home when she was suddenly struck by a stray bullet during a drive-by shooting.  Paralyzed from the waist down, Amya needed a new home that would better suit her new needs.  BIA Cares, in partnership with very generous donors, built a brand new accessible home for Amya and her family!
